WHAT AGE DO CLASSES RUN FROM?
Classes start from 6months+ all the way through to adults, so you're never too young or too old to start!
DO WE RUN CLASSES FOR BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS?
Yes! All of our preschool and recreational classes are suitable for both boys and girls.
WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO WEAR?
Our club has a standard uniform policy in which all recreational members need to wear club uniform. For trial sessions and preschool sessions, any comfy sports clothing is fine - leggings/shorts and a t-shirt etc.
We have the option of 4 different colour leotards, a t-shirt or a hoodie for girls and a black leotard and shorts, a t-shirt or a hoodie. Your child can choose any of the above for their class.
WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING WITH THEM TO GYM??
Your child will need to bring a drink with them to gym. We have facilities to fill up water bottles but your child must bring their own bottle as it gets very hot in the gym and your child will be working hard and getting very thirsty.
HOW EARLY SHOULD WE ARRIVE FOR A SESSION?
Please arrive 5 minutes before your class and wait in the waiting room until called into your class by your coach.
WHERE DO YOU GO WHEN YOU ARRIVE?
Make your way into the main entrance of the building and into the waiting room. We do have a side door for those who have pushchairs/wheelchairs etc to get into safely and easily.

All outdoor clothing, shoes, socks etc need to be left in the lockers. A coach will come and collect you for your session so you will need to remain in the waiting room until collected.
WHERE DOES MY CHILD LEAVE THEIR BELONGINGS?
All outdoor clothes, bags, shoes etc are to be left in the lockers in the waiting room. Your child needs to take their drink into their session with them but no other belongings (unless medical)
CAN MY CHILD WEAR EARRINGS?
Jewelry must be removed for all classes. If earrings cannot be removed, they must be taped over with surgical tape as to adhere to safety policies.
CAN MY CHILD COME A TRIAL SESSION BEFORE SIGNING UP?
Yes. Your child can sign up to a 2 week trial session for their chosen class. Fees need to be paid for the month in advance, but if your child decides the class isn't for them, any remaining fees for the month will be refunded to you.
CAN I WATCH MY CHILD IN THEIR SESSION?
With the safety of the gymnast in mind we have put in place a policy whereby parents/guardians are not permitted to remain inside the gymnasium whilst independent sessions are in progress. This ensures that in the case of an emergency there is free access both to and from the gymnasium and emergency procedures can be adhered to, by direction of the coaching team. We do offer a parent open viewing week at the end of each term so you can come and watch your child in their class.

We do have a waiting room downstairs in which you are welcome to wait for your child and watch their session on the CCTV which we play via the tv.

The only sessions in which parents can stay is our Stay and Play preschool class and our Mini Movers preschool class.
DO RECREATIONAL CLASSES DO AWARDS?
Yes. All of our recreational classes have an awards system in which each term they get tested on their suitable level.
Every recreational class also awards Star of the Day certificates and stickers throughout the term.
HOW DO WE PAY FEES?
Fees are paid via your iClassPro account.
Recreational, Team and Squad fees are paid monthly in advance.Â

Stay and Play sessions are a weekly book in and pay as you go system
Our structured preschool classes are a monthly payment in advance.
WHAT IS BRITISH GYMNASTICS INSURANCE?
We are affiliated with BG and the insurance is compulsory after your 2 week trial session.

The cost of BG Bronze insurance is £18.00 for independent preschool sessions, £24.00 for recreational and team classes and for silver insurance for squad this is £60.00.
​
This is an annual payment due every September for 1st October.
DO WE HAVE TO PAY MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. Annual membership is £20 and includes £5 off uniform, discounted holiday workshops and parties.
